Moved here last week and loving it. Very clean, quite community, close to shopping and highway. Nice pool and tennis court. Mr Jeff is very helpful. Highly recommended. Oh and did I mention the great view from my balcony.

I scheduled a tour to check out a possible unit to rent here. I was excited because the pictures online and the virtual tour online displayed a beautiful apartment. However, I took one step into the unit and it was horrible and the exact opposite of what was online. The unit I was looking at online was refurbished and was 1,185 a month. I asked why the unit is not what is shown online and the agent explained that the one online is a refurbished unit and they go for 1400 a month. The unit I was looking at has not been updated since the 1960’s as he explained. So from my understanding, they use those pictures to bait you in to touring and possibly upgrading to the refurbished units to get more money out of you. Also, their deal going on currently is false too. The first month is not free. You pay the application fee, a deposit for the application, and then your security deposit is the first months rent. Your rent for the second month would be free. Just a heads up for anyone looking to rent here.
I enjoyed living at Ruxton Towers, great views, walk-in closets, attentive staff, the grounds are cleaned daily, a diverse community, the entry is secured after office hours and it's located less than five minutes from 695 and 83.
Ruxton Towers is a well maintained building and the grounds are properly kept. The staff and residents are charming, making this an extremely pleasant place to be.
I have lived here for over 5 years. The building has improved with the new property manager, Jeff. But I have complained three times now about the homeless woman living in her car in the parking lot. She parks at the end under trees and I have watched her use the lot for her bathroom. I seem to be the only one noticing her yet the assistant property manager drives right past to park in her reserved spot. Why is no one chasing her off? The property has survailence cameras. I don’t really want to watch a homeless woman camp out and pee where I live. Not to mention I can smell her car from the lot. Please address this so I don’t have to start calling the police. They have better things to be doing.
