First time at Shake Shack in years and wanted to give it a second shot. I got a cheeseburger (added lettuce * bacon), fries, and a brownie batter hot cocoa shake. Fries were great, though I agree that the portion is a little small for the price you pay. The burger was great, it was the *tiniest* bit under the well done I requested, but not a big deal. The milkshake tasted like chocolate ice cream; nothing to write home about, but also not tasteless so points for that. I could've done without the brownie brittle pieces as they tasted a little burnt. All in all, I'd go back (I actually did try to come back, but it was two minutes before closing time so we passed). I enjoyed this better than the burger spot around the corner. That being said, the location of this is horrendous. I understand it's mainly for pedestrians & college kids but there is a COMPLETE lack of free parking (outside of the mall which is inconvenient for gig workers). It's outrageous to expect people to pay to park just to run into a restaurant for a couple minutes However, to all the other people complaining about service/order issues: you all should know that it takes twoish months to work out all the kinks and for the staff to gel together and get a rhythm going. Great food and the best fries I have ever had. I go there just to get the fries sometimes because they are that good. The parking can be an issue, it's best to order online and pick it up to go.
Took two bits of my burger and had a pull a massive thick hair out of my throat. They also forgot to give me my milkshake. Oh and had to wait 20min longer than expected in the freezing cold for this experience...unimpressed I’m a big fan of shake shack but will not be returning to this one
Delicious burgers and shakes!! Ordering was quick and easy and they have the option to order via a tablet. You can customize your burger toppings and even choose a gluten free bun (1.00 extra) or a lettuce wrap instead of a bun. After you order, you wait outside on the sidewalk and they text you when your order is ready. We waited maybe 10 minutes for two burgers, fries, and two shakes. PARKING: In the Avalon building on Joppa road there is FREE retail parking in the garage for up to 1.5 hours!
Always enjoy good shack shake burger and fries! this location hasn't disappointed me yet! Burgers were juicy and fries are nice and crispy. People who complained about no parking and giving lower rating obviously haven't been to downtown location... I rather go towson than drive all the way down city in traffic with no parking any day!
5 stars for the food 3 stars for no parking. Really impossible to stop in quick and pick up an order. Unless you're a police officer who parked in the middle of the road to run in for his food. Not blaming him, understand why he had to do it. Should at least have pick up area. By the time I got to my car had to park at the mall, my food was cold.
Delicious food & great service. Can't wait to go back again! Burgers, Chicken Sandwich, and Fries were so good! In reference to others saying you have to wait outside- -It's quite simple, order your food in advance through the app if you don't want to wait long outside. They let you know when your order will be ready. There's a pandemic going on- safety first!
Tasted like Shake Shack to me! I parked in the mall parking lot and walked over. Was good to walk a bit after the burger and fries anyway Will definitely be back! Shoutout to the workers for their great service
