The Highlands is a great place to live. The staff at the front leasing center are courteous and professional and answer all your questions immediately. The maintenance staff also is great and fix things immediately if anything breaks. I highly recommend living here.

My husband and i went to couple apartment appointments and none of them treated us the way Highlands Apartment agent did. We felt very welcome and right at home , it only took us a minute to decide, this community is our home now. We are very pleased with the process and how easy it was. It was a pleasure meeting Rose And i definitely recommend talking to Rose First .
This place is unbelievable. I applied for one of their apartments, but was denied (for erroneous reasons). They refused to even call me to tell me. When I finally called for a status they alleged I was denied for reasons that appeared on a rental report that they had pulled, even though I got a copy of the SAME report and none of the erroneous information was contained. Now the manager refuses to call me back. Funny how they were more than willing to take my application fee and deposit within seconds, but can’t make a phone call to save their lives. Plus I’m sure I’ll have to wait months to get my deposit back. I can’t say for sure though since THEY WON’T CALL ME BACK. Really unprofessional.
I just leased an apartment at Trabuco Highlands and can't wait to move in! I set an appointment with Monica and she was absolutely amazing. I'm someone who likes to do her research, so I had a long list of questions. Monica was patient with me, and answered all of my questions thoroughly. The property just got renovated and it's absolutely gorgeous. The pool has all this amazing furniture and cabanas. The fitness center has all the machines and weights I need. And the interiors are refreshingly modern. Coupled with the spacious floor plans, these new apartments are perfect.
I used to live here. A little boy was walking his dog and lost control and came up to my dog. He had a small terrier, I have a pit. When the terrier bit my dog, my dog bit back. We reported the incident immediately, and Trabuco highland office administration didn’t even care about the story, they immediately put me in a stressful situation demanding I get rid of my SERVICE ANIMAL or MOVE told us to get rid of our dog or move. I moved. Discrimination at its finest. UPDATE: you have a no tolerance policy? The terrier attacked my dog first and bit my boyfriend too. We had to call animal services. Why didn't they get kicked out?? They continued to live there happily while my world turned upside down.
