Ferraro Foods is the absolute best grocery store. From the fresh produce, the sausages, meat, seafood, island farms dairy, imported pastas, olive oils, in store made chicken tenders, the salmon with stuffing, the fresh bread made by Ferraros bakery, the platters you can order (with 48 hr notice) meat, cheese, fruit, veggie, the assortment of cheeses, the deli, the vegan options, I could go on and on!!! Seriously the best store I have had the pleasure of shopping in and I have travelled all over the USA, lived in Edmonton, shopped in a lot of grocery stores (I have 4 kids) and no shopping experience has even come close to Ferraro Foods. I can't forget to mention the absolute best part of this grocery store which is the owner, Danny. The customer service he demonstrates is superior, he treats myself and my 2 year old daughter like gold. Thank you Danny for your dedication and hard work, and your kindness and thank you for bringing to our table healthy, fresh food.

Best grocery store in the kootenays. The meat department is better quality at better prices than anywhere in Nelson or Castlegar. They also have a better selection of quality dry goods than anywhere else. It's worth the drive to Trail.

As always, Ferraro Foods is, in my honest opinion the best place in the Kootenays to obtain quality pasta, olive oil, canned goods and more at really affordable prices... Looking forward to seeing them open a Nelson location in the near future as that would be really awesome!

Ferrari's takes great pandemic precautions and has a better selection of food and usually better pricing than Safeway does.

Ferraro Foods is a great place for cheese, they have an awesome selection. They also have a good meat department! I would have givin 5 stars but it's very hard to find things sometimes. For example I found olives in 6 different places in the store? Sun dried tomatoes in 3 different places. The place just needs to be organized a bit better.
