I was shopping for a birthday gift and wanted to get a RC vehicle. I had no experience in this and had no idea what to get. I spoke to Vinny on the telephone and he was more then helpful and told me to come to the store. Upon getting there, Vinny couldn't be more that willing to help me choose the right Traxxas vehicle. He was very knowledgeable and was above and beyond helpful. Thank you Vinny! The gift was a big hit.

Hands down the best hobby shop around. I live about 45 minutes to 1 hour away in New Jersey and back in November of 2019 I was on the hunt for an MTH Premier Santa Fe Blue Goose Hudson steam locomotive that was released back in 2011. I was told about Trains & Lanes by a good friend of mine who had bought O gauge trains from them and after looking them up right here on Google and scrolling through photos I noticed they had that engine sitting in the case. I called and they said that they still had it. I drove with him to go purchase it and I was blown away by the amount of O gauge trains they have for sale. Greg and the model train crew were very helpful and knowledgeable. Greg even gave me a good discount off the engine. Since that day I have been coming back. I have also bought many freight cars from them. The selection they have on their scale Lionel freight cars is incredible. Most train/hobby shops I've patronized don't have no where near as much inventory as these guy's do. This place is not only heaven or paradise for model train enthusiasts but also for people who love and enjoy RC cars, boats, model kits, etc. This place is 100% well worth driving from New Jersey and sitting in rush hour traffic on Interstate 78 for. The owner prefers to be rather old school and not promote advertisement, rather use the solid and good reputation he has made for people to find out about this place and keep coming back again and again. This place is out of this world.

Thus was my first time here. I was looking a drone. A guy who was helping me was extremely nice. Good selection of drones. Very interesting store. Didn't have to fully explore it.
