I am a student who will soon be applying to physical therapy schools. Over the last month I have observed Dana skillfully and professionally assess and treat numerous patients utilizing her years of experience as a physical therapist and triathlete. Dana's approach is very specific to each patient and gives them one-on-one attention the entire time they are there. I highly recommend her services.

Dana is an excellent physical therapist. I wish I had found her years ago! I’m just a middle-aged recreational runner with chronic insertional tendinitis, not a great prospect for improvement. She addressed it with everything, just as if I were some real athlete like her-all the usual PT plus shoe recommendations and evaluation, and help with my running form. She also helped me see that the way I was walking was a big part of the problem. She gave me the tools I needed to manage this myself so that I can continue to run (and walk) without pain most days, even though it’s been several months since I’ve seen her. I can still hear her “coaching” when I run-she was so much fun to work with! I found that although she knows what works, she is flexible about adapting to the individual. If that hurts, try this instead. Same with the pose method of running. It wasn’t this super strict routine but she helped me get the important parts. Now when I run, if something feels off, I have a checklist of things to fix- feel the pose, the fall, the pull, is my foot relaxed, are my feet quiet? It’s really brought the joy back into running, and I’m running better than in the last few years. Thanks, Dana!

I had been dealing with a bad case of plantar fasciitis for about six months. I am a runner and had to stop running it was so bad. I met with Dana and she put me on a therapy program that gradually helped me to heal and got me back to running. I just raced last weekend for the first time since the injury. I was happy with my current speed, but the best part was that I was pain free during and after the race. I highly recommend seeing Dana for any orthopedic issues! Thanks Dana!

If you want a physical therapist that truly cares about their patients wellbeing and is incredibly adept and knowledgable about the human body, go visit Dana at Transitions PT. I promise you that you will receive a warm and wonderful experience from start to finish. Dana always takes the time to explain your condition and discuss the best treatment options. I shadowed her for several weeks and every patient that she encounters leaves the clinic feeling better with a smile on their face.

I had won a run analysis from baby boot camp group and didn't know what to expect. I'm pretty new to running, but am training for my first half marathon. Dana was great! She took the time to really explain everything and I think I already feel a difference in my running form. I hope to work on my cadence next. She also had great recommendation on running shoes and a good nearby store.
