The waiters were very polite and well educated and the food and its origins. Everything was presented very beautiful and also tastes delicious. We had to wait about ten minutes, because there was no free table. But we were offered a free aperitif while we waited. Every oil and salt and so on has its own story that was told. Where it was produced, what was special about it, and why it was chosen for your food. Thank you, it was one of the best dining experiences that I have ever had.

Chiropractic Alchemy

We went to Mamma Rosa last night after having walked passed this vibrant little corner of restaurants the 2 previous nights. Mamma Rosa stood out, as it was busy, there were many Italians eating there and the staff were looked over by an older Italian lady who seemed friendly, passionate and authentic with her kitchen/restaurant. We loved the experience, the crew were great and very attentive and the food was delicious!! The Sicilian Pizza I had was amazing and my wife's pasta beef ragu was one of the best she's had. Then the tiramisu, probably the best I've had, the waiter told me he makes the Tiramisu himself!! It was definitely up there in ratings. Delicious food, great team serving (as some places, the staff have been grumpy and not attentive at all). Good vibes all around. 5 stars and we will be back before we leave Taormina.

The food, service and atmosphere was fantastic in this restaurant that I went twice in my 5 nights' stay in Taormina. While I was disappointed with other over priced eateries locally with average food, I came by this one by chance on a rainy night and the food was just a mixture of delicate and hearty flavours and full of freshness and also traditional tastes. Amongst the outstanding ones are the starters of shrimps tartar and octopus , then the divine pasta with cuttlefish and then also the bream with almond crust. The family team of service was exceptional, friendly and fast. Highly recommended.

The food was really good. Can for sure recommend the starter eggplant. The pasta and gnocchi were also very delicious
