I would NOT and WILL NOT recommend this man. When we met him, he seemed like a down-to-Earth, honest man, however there is 3500 missing! I will try to tell the short version. We sold a property for 14,500. The buyer and I split the 500 fee for him to do the transaction. He also was handling an estate settlement, which he told us would cost 1,500. So that means we should have owed 1,750 from 14,500. That comes to 12,750. When we got paid, we received around 9,250. Stephen Shaw TOLD me, my mother, my son, and my niece that he was holding 3500 JUST IN CASE there were additional money owed for my father's estate, and we would get it after the estate was settled. In the end, I never received a dime of this, NOR an explanation of where ANY of it went. Nothing!

When my husband and I retired down south we knew it was time to get our estate documents in order. After giving it much thought we thought we knew what we needed. Well after meeting Attorney Stephen Shaw and comparing what we thought we needed for a complete and solid Estate Trust, to what he brought to our attention, we were glad we waited till now to have our Trust put into action. My husband and I were impressed by the way he talked to us and not at us, explaining all the components of what we were looking to accomplish. This was 4 years ago and since then we have consulted with him on different topics. Most recently on Real Estate. He has become ‘our’ attorney as one would pick a doctor or dentist. We are grateful we waited because we can now sleep at night knowing that we have everything in order and it is iron-clad. Should anything come up we know we will be guided in the right direction.
