My husband and I booked a site for an extended weekend. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised with this KOA. The sites were groomed and laid out giving each site ample space. We have a 40ft 5th wheel and we had no trouble backing in and leveling. There was a small creek behind us which helped make it even more tranquil. We stayed in site #31, however all the other sites appeared to be equally nice and level. I do not think you can go wrong with any of the sites. The owners definitely take pride in their campground. We arrived after dark and met the owners the next morning and they are so nice and want to make sure your stay is wonderful. We are already planning our next visit back!

This is our second time staying at a koa,(our first time was in GA),and again, it was a very good experience at this location in SC,very nice and friendly people at check in(owners),also the lady at check out. the cabin was clean and cozy, good location close to NC and lots of activities to do around with the family. we'll definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay! Lovely location tucked back in off the highway. Quiet, clean, and excellent customer service. Treated our RV to a spa day thanks to the owners son - he did an excellent job on the wash and wax. We will be back.

I would like to give them a 1 star just so i can keep this jewel to myself but I love the owners so much that I could never bring myself to dampen their business. It’s such a lovely setting close to things to do but you feel removed from it all. We live close by and still choose to come here versus further attractions. Facilities are well kept and clean. We love coming here.

My husband and I absolutely enjoy ourselves at the Travelers Rest KOA. This KOA is one of the prettiest, cleanest, quietest, most organized campground we've been to. They have a creek running through the property, a hiking trail, bicycles are welcome, a swimming pool, and all the nature you want. It's right off Hwy. 25, but most of the time you'd never know it. Pets are welcome with stations to grab a bag for clean up. Very convenient. Thank you to the staff that do award winning work. We certainly appreciate it. See you soon!

Love this little campground. The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming. The campground is quiet and clean. It's close to a neat little town and not far from Greenville. Definitely recommend it!

If you are looking for a nice, peaceful, clean place to camp then Travelers Rest KOA is the place! The grounds are so well maintained, the bath houses are always clean, the recreation area offers plenty for the kids and adults to do, and the staff is absolutely fabulous! Jason, the owner, goes above and beyond to ensure that your stay is the best it can be. You are always greeted with a smile, wave, and friendly conversation! The only suggestion I'd have is for the playground to offer a little more shade during the day as the sun hits it just right. Other than that, I have ZERO complaints!! As for things to do around the area...visit the state parks (Jones Gap is a fabulous spot for families) and Campbell's Covered Bridge. You won't regret it! Bring your water shoes and bathing suits if you go because the streams are fantastic for wading and cooling off!!
