If I could give negative stars I would. My mom waited over a month to get in for a wound that had been open for 4 months. When we walked the receptionist said you don’t have an appointment today it was Tuesday. We asked it she could be worked in since there were no patients in the waiting room and no cars in the parking lot. The receptionist just said nope can’t do it. My Mom had to walk out she was so upset as she’s been in pain for months and was looking forward to some help. I asked if they do appointment reminders and got a very brief “nope”. They didn’t call her when she was late for her appointment to let know that she had missed. I asked for another appointment and and she stared at her computer for a few minutes and gave me one appointment time two weeks out. She threw the appointment sheet at me and walked away. I’ve been in management in the medical field for 15 years and have never encountered such a rude front desk staffer. My mother cried for nearly an hour after the encounter.

For over twenty years, I faught ulcers on my left shin that extended from my knee to my ankle. The ulcers failed to respond to treatment until I went to Munson Advanced Wound Care in Traverse City. Led by Dr. Marc Krakow and ably assisted by PT Terry Hearn, my ulcers are virtually all healed thanks to their expert care. Beyond their extraordinary knowledge and execitional expertise, the entire wound center staff is exceptionally friendly and exhibits a high level of genuine interest in their patients and comradarie with their colleagues. The center is a fun place to visit.
