I had my first appointment with Dr. Evans on August 17 regarding a continuation of daily headaches. I had received previous results from a CT scan and MRA that stated I might have an a AV malformation. Dr. Evans stated that he wanted another MRI to rule out this possible diagnosis. He also questioned whether I was having migraines and increased medication dosage to deal with it. I had the MRI September 21. I called the office in October to find out about the results and I was told that it had not been read yet. I did not receive a phone call from his office until my family physician inquired about the results at the end of October 2020. I finally received a call from Dr. Evans nurse first week of November to indicate that the results were all negative. She asked me to set up another appointment with Dr. Evans which I declined. My concern has been the delay in the MRI results and the lack of follow up in communication with Dr. Evans. There could’ve been a grievous concern with this MRI that I would not have known about. Dr Evans never personally returned my calls. When I inquired with his nurse as to why I had not heard about the results in almost 2 months she was not able to give me an answer.

Dr. Evans is a great neurologist. I have had chronic migraines since I was a young child and have been to 7 different neurologists through the years due to moving etc. Dr. Evans is the First neurologist who treated me like a person not just a number. He takes time to talk to you and is also a good listener. He has been very helpful to me and I would definitely recommend him to others.

What a great place! Go here if you are looking to be talked to like a child and waste hours of your life so that the ladies who work here can experience a pointless sense of authority! I am an insurance agent, and a client of mine was a patient here. We simply needed a note stating their diagnosis and needed it quickly due to the coming end of an enrollment period. This is a common practice in my line of work that is usually a very simple process. They were rude, and unwilling to to be of any assistance. Refusing to use their fax machine, and instead making the patient drive an hour round trip to pick up the form to sign, and then making me drive an hour and a half round trip to pick it up so I can fax it to the insurance company. Chances are, the patient will now be unable to get the insurance coverage they desire for no reason other than this offices unwillingness to be of any assistance whatsoever.

Do NOT have patients best interest in mind, and refuse to work with insurance agents to benefit patient. Front desk ladies do not offer any form of help, talk down to you and have false sense of power and authority. 0/5 stars if it were an option!
