This is the best vineyard I have been to on the peninsula. They were very knowledgeable, friendly, and had many suggestions. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable and we had a great time. The view is beautiful.

Great views and decent wines. The tasting room is very modern with a great patio and seating area. Views are great too. Wines are good but not the best on the peninsula.

Went to Hawthorne for the first time and was asked if we had reservations and we did not. We’ve frequented numerous other more popular wineries and have never been turned away. Lady at the front said sorry there’s no way you can come in until tomorrow at 11am.....as I was staring at 5 empty tables. Shame on your management. We weren’t even requesting a table, we would have happily stood outside. Take notes on what the other wineries are doing in the area as this is not right and reflects poorly on your winery.

I came here in July 2019, I wasn’t even aware of this place until I was on the peninsula but my friends and I were more than highly satisfied that we stopped by. The crowd were in good spirits, the wine was flavorful, there was music being performed, and the view outside was breathtaking.
