Recently had the privilege of staying in one of the cabins at the shoestring resort. Was so happy with the accommodations that my fiancee and I will be returning again in the near future. The cottage was convenient, comforting, clean, and well equipped with all the essentials. The host was great, she answered all the questions I had about the area, rivers, lakes, etc. , also pet friendly which was a plus. Great stay for pet lovers. Highly recommend this place.

Absolutely amazing place to stay! I stayed for a week with my family and our 2 dogs and we were so happy! This was the 3rd or 4th time my family and I have stayed here and we will keep coming back year after year. Management is great and the cottages are fully furnished and the perfect place to call home away from home.

It’s the only place that would take our 2 dogs and 2 cats! Most places have 2 pet maximum policy or no pets at all. I would like to thank so much the manager who is super nice lady! Also you can stay here as long as a month or use it as short term rental (month to month rental) fully furnished too! The only thing you will need to bring is your own towels and bedding. Last but not least prices are the most awesome! Thank you so much again and God bless you!

The cabins are fair but the trailers are pretty rough, water tested at 712 TDS which is 212 points over the epa's recommended level. so we ended up buying bottled water to drink. The water pressure was very weak and the TV would flicker when you used the microwave. The Wi-Fi only works sometimes and was very slow. The appliances are outdated and failing. The location is good but I would not recommend staying here unless it was your only choice or a summer weekend. Not to mention it's easily noticeable that they have reviewed their own establishment. Just simply go down through the reviews and you can see they gave themselves five stars. We ended up going somewhere else because it was just not safe.

20 Plus years and now my son goes and enjoys it. I go there just to get away and I live twenty minutes away. Old and smells like my grandparents. And clean, plus it's well stocked just bring food and drinks.
