My husband and I were very well received at the entrance. We love the museum. We took advantage and went to visit the Torre L'Aquila.

Awesome castle in the middle of the city, easy to reach also by car, leveraging on the several parking lots in the nearby area. The castle itself is large enough to spend half a day for the visit. It's more museum than castle, however: rich in contents but a little out of context. The "Ciclo dei Mesi" ("cycle of the months") is a must see: it's a series of wall paintings representing life around the castle in Middle Age through the seasons. It's located in the "Torre Aquila" ("eagle tower") and the visit is sold separately from the castle's admittance ticket.

This is a must in Trento. The history class starts at the dawn of humanity all the way to the complex changes in the region. A whole area is dedicated to the importance of religion on the history of Trento region. You will need at least 3 hours to enjoy this place. I loved it.

Great frescoes, make sure you turn up to the tower at the time on your ticket though! the tower is on the second to top floor near the library- a but hard to find.

Beautiful castle and museum. There is a lot to see inside so you might not want to wait until too late in the day.

Beautiful castle with some decorated rooms and nice pieces from prehistoric times to the middle ages in the museum. The gardens are free. The castle is not wheelchair accessible or good for a stroller.
