Chilterns is a brilliant rescue centre! The staff are very friendly and relaxed and our rehoming process was very easy. They stand out from other rescue centres because they don't allow the public to view the dogs and stress them out but have a relaxed interview with you to determine if they have the right dog then ask you if you'd like to meet a potential match. We met our dog Penny, a chocolate lab and instantly fell in love and she has slotted into our lives like she's always been there, we love her to bits! We'll be back to Chilterns in the future for our next addition!

Very well managed, purpose built Rescue Centre. Staff dedicated and obviously all love Dogs, with many of them having Foster Dogs from the centre, so able to give great advice to first time rescuers. Everything is centred around the best interests of the Dogs and they are really keen to get the right match, based on the needs of the Humans and the Dogs, rather than showing a load of cute photos on the website and having people pick based on who's the cutest (although we obviously think ours is the cutest!). Each Dog comes with a full briefing pack about their health, history (or as much as is known), weight, feeding times and requirements, 4 weeks' Petplan insurance, a bag of Arden Grange food and a collar tag. All immunisations are up to date and they neuter the Dog or give you a discount voucher for their Vet if the Dog is too young (or you can of course use your own Vet). This is Buddy (formerly known as Jacob) already very relaxed on his first day in his Forever Home
