The 2 stars are for the venue. A beautiful venue but that's about as far as it goes. The correspondence and service we had paid for from the owner was very poor indeed. We wonder how every other client of hers seemingly got good service as we got such bad service. 1. We were told we would have the morning to decorate, a short time before the wedding we were told had 1 hour which she new was not enough time to decorate so we had to get our guests to do it. 2. The owner told us she would contact our suppliers leading up to the wedding to coordinate, she didn't and so we had to. 3. We were eligible for a discount as we paid up front. The owner then said no we couldn't get the discount. 4. The owner on our wedding day interrupted my wife in front of friends and family and accused her of having not paid for the alcohol when my wife had paid before the wedding. 5. The owner said ' the most important part of the day is when the bride arrives' She said she would coordinate and walk my wife to the ceremony. The owner was in fact not even on site at this point. And due to this thee was confusion as to when my wife walked to the isle. 6. We were told the Mandup (an Indian wedding structure) that we had built, that we could leave it on site permanently. The morning after the wedding while having breakfast they text messaged us to say we had 1 hour to remove it! 7. And generally they were very un-responsive to correspondence, rude, late, didn't have enough time for us at several points (even though we were paying a lot on money)

We had our wedding here last weekend and it was everything we dreamed of and more. Fairy tale setting with a laid back festival vibe, Faye and the team were incredible on the day! They only do around 15 per year and it's a lot of work for them so please be patient, but if you are lucky enough to book this amazing and special venue you will not be disappointed. Only shame is that one or two locals seem to have something against this wonderful little business and like to complain to the council despite there being strict sound controls in place at all times to protect the surrounding area and a strict music finish at 11pm.

Stevie and I just wanted to both say a massive THANK YOU for such an amazing day on Saturday. We honestly couldn't have asked for any more - thanks to you and your team, everyone had the most magical day. It was pretty special having the complete venue set-up as a bit of a surprise as we walked down the aisle, and it was more amazing than I imagined! All the guests were raving about how special everything was and how lovely your team were. We honestly just felt so relaxed and had no doubts that you all had everything under control - thank you!

What a fantastic venue to have a wedding, it's rustic and charming..Faye and Sam have put so much thought into every tiny detail from the chandeliers in the trees to the picture frames for photos. Two bars one of which is a gin bar in a retro caravan. We had a fab night and I know the bride and groom loved it. This place is magical.

Beautiful Venue working with integrity, caring FOR the environment & totally within the LAW! DO NOT bother reading disgruntled pitchfork mentality yocal reviews intent on spreading hatred and Lies!! Such a shame as the owner is so friendly & approachable that these back handed tactics and harassment are used by a bitter few. Every wedding has been Wonderful, Everyone has said it is the BEST wedding they have ever attended. I fully support young people starting a business & making it so magical & memorable! (All music is off by 11pm fyi _ definitely no techno in the woods at 2am - as trolling review suggests!!)
