FEES! The club is giving me a very hard time. I am trying to cancel my membership since April 2020. Sent two emails requesting cancellation which has been ignored, nobody replied and they kept charging me fees. I went into the club and the owner stated that their policy does not accept email cancellations, there was no other way to cancel the membership and there was a note at the front desk stating to reach them through email regarding membership issues. The owner wanted me to sign the cancellation letter with todays date which I did not agree to because I cancelled few months back. I could not find an agreement with the management so I asked my bank to block transactions from Zone Fitness. The club sent me to collections and a bill of almost 300! I guess we'll end up in court. Please be aware everyone! Edit. Yes, Ive been a member of your club at Chelsea Place in Trinity for 3 years.

25 to cancel a month to month membership is ridiculous just as many others have mentioned in the comments. To add insult to injury, you can’t cancel over the phone you have to come in and cancel your month to month in person. I started on the 1 year membership, then began paying month to month thinking that I was free to leave whenever without penalty. I was so wrong! They don’t provide you with new rules and regulations for your month to month or tell you that there’s a 25 fee to cancel. As I have been reading the owners responses to other unhappy customers they say this policy is listed on their website. Ok well, thanks for letting me know that I needed to take more time out of my day to scrummage through your website to find your hidden agenda. I didn’t want to insult them but this is an outdated facility. They don’t even have a legitimate water filtration system. Old school & unsanitary water fountains that make it almost impossible to fill water bottles. Spend your money elsewhere!

Beware of the fine print. Went in February 1st to cancel my membership, can’t cancel online or over the phone, I had to pay 84 to cancel my husband and my memberships. A 26 fee each to cancel plus had to pay 30 days.

IF I COULD GIVE NO STARS I WOULD, FIRST OF ALL, I MOVED AND WHEN I CALLED THE FIRST GIRL I SPOKE WITH TOLD ME IT WOULD BE A 10 CANCELLATION FEE THEN WHEN I CALLED BACK AND TALKED TO KATHY THE MANAGER OWNER OR WHAT EVER SHE IS SHE TOLD ME I HAD TO COME INTO THE CLUB AND CANCEL AND I HAD TO PAY OUT MY CONTRACT. THEN WHEN I CALLED BACK BECAUSE I MOVED OUT OF THE AREA SHE TOLD ME A NEEDED TO SEND WRITTEN NOTICE, THEY CONVENENTLY DIDN'T RECIEVE THE FIRST ONE AND THEN WHEN I SENT IT AGAIN SHE SAID MY MEMBERSHIP WOULD BE CANCELED AND NOT RENEWED. THEN THEY KEPT CHARGING MY BACK SO I WENT TO THE BANK AND PUT A STOP ON THAT, THEN THEY WANTED ME TO PAY AGAIN THE 50 SOMETHING DOLLAR MEMBERSHIP FEE PLUS 2 MORE MONTHS. NOW THEY ARE SENDING ME TO COLLECTION, NICE DURING A COVID PANDEMIC WHERE MY HUSBAND ALREADY LOST HIS JOB AND WE HAD TO MOVE. MY FRIEND TOLD ME THEY SCREWED HER SON AND I SHOULDN'T OF GONE TO THAT CLUB AND I SAID OH NO THEY ARE SO NICE, YEAH GUESS WHAT, THEY WILL SCREW YOU TOO.

They are very friendly and the personal trainers clearly care about their clients. It is not typically crowded and it is very sanitary. I recommend training with Nico.

Equipement is not being fixed for a long time but the main issue are the FEES and extremely hard time cancelling the memberships. During Covid when the club was closed, I was still charged so I tried to cancel the membership via email listed on their website. They changed the email in the meantime so I had to send another cancellation email, accordingdly to a message at their front door stating to contact via email for any membership changes. The email has been ignored. I went into the club to finaly cancel the membership but the owner talked me into freezing it instead, which I did. The last freeze day, I sent a cancellation letrer by mail. They still charged me a cancellation fee, following month charges and membership renewal fees! While I already paid my last month fee when I signed up for no-contract membership! Just to add they ignored my family members cancellation notice and sent them to COLLECTION! I do not recommend to anyone! Edit: I just checked that I was charged for March 2020 when club was closed. All information which I included are true. You only addressed the first part of ny review, please respond to the other part which is true as well.

I’ve been coming to this gym since it opened. It is very clean, very well maintained club with lots of equipment. The bathrooms are also very clean. The staff truly care about their members. Kathy, Jose and Nicco are awesome!
