Good for kids
Hiked this loop with my wife and two kids. The hike had lots of mud and lots of bugs. The south loop was especially overgrown. It took us just under three hours to hike the entire loop of about 5.7 miles but we took a few breaks along the way. Although there were five other cars in the parking lot we didn't encounter anyone on the trail.

Great hike. Spring runs fast in winter and trickles in summer. Campsite up the hill for backpackers.
Very good place to hike.
Seldom used trail, fresh spring water to drink. Scattered wildflowers around for some color at the spring area.
Yes. There's water there
