Ryan and his team have been doing a great job identifying/addressing issues with trees and maintaining defensible space at my home for many years (2 different houses in that time). Crews have always been efficient and respectful, work is done well, and the invoices have always come in as quoted. In addition, Ryan is very patient when answering my questions about our trees, often giving me a better understanding of the biological processes/features I'm noticing, and telling me whether an action is warranted. In recent years, drought and beetles have been wreaking havoc on the local forests, including my yard, and it has been nice to rely on Alpen Tree to remove the afflicted trees. What really blew me away was when 2 trees shed all of their needles & many branches (lingering affects of beetles) during a March snowstorm, Alpen Tree was able to confirm the problem and do an emergency extraction within the week. In the snow. I highly recommend Alpen Tree for any tree or defensible space work you need.

Alpen Tree Experts gave us sensational service. When I first sent an email asking for information about tree removal and brush clearning, one of their experts was at our home within an hour and had already walked through the area that needed clearing. We received a formal estimate via email within a day. The estimate was well below other tree services and seemed very fair to me. This was a big job with the need to remove a lot of large evergreen trees. The work was done flawlessly and ahead of schedule, with regular email reminders to me about the current status of the project. When all was done, I received an electronic invoice which I could pay instantly along with a complete summary of the entire project and financial details. Alpen Tree Experts provided a level of service that was well beyond what I expected. I will tell all of my neighbors and friends that this is a terrific company and that Alpen Tree Experts deserve your business.
One text to Ryan and a few days later he came by. The following week the offending large fir tree was down. Slash was chipped, ground raked and tree in 20 inch rounds. This is the third year that I've used Alpen Tree Experts. Prompt, reliable and a nice guy to boot! 5 stars all around.
Alpen was great! Rebecca in the office was very responsive as I waited for my service. When the day of service came - the crew got to work immediately. They did a great job pruning up the trees and the stumps. Very clean, polite and willing to help out on a couple of extra branches that I couldn’t reach. I am definitely going to call them again!
The Alpen Tree team showed with a very professional and accomplished crew and the perfect equipment for the job! They were able to cut down trees marked, trim and prune dead branches to reduce fire danger, and with their fabulous "Witch Ditch" machine that has these remarkable "claws" were able to swiftly pick up branches and stumps and feed them into the wood chip grinder. The wood chips then were perfect for our garden area! Oh...and...somehow, when limbs were falling, they made sure to not crush any of our existing plants beneath the trees! We are more than satisfied!

We called Alpine Tree Experts after reviewing the report from Tahoe Donner Forestry on the need to remove limbs too close to our roof and thin the trees on the property. They did a fabulous job! I watched as one of the team scaled a tall tree to start the removal of limbs as a first step to topping the tree and so reduce the height of the tree before taking it down. (It was very impressive to watch this professional wield a chainsaw while high in a tree.) This approach made sure that the tree would not hit any structures when it was taken down. After the work was done, the team made sure that the area was cleared of any debris, leaving it looking better than before they arrived. Alpine Tree Experts are highly professional, skilled and my husband and I highly recommend them.
