The CoffeeBar Bakery is a coffee and dessert dream for vegans, and others who love coffee and pastries. Each pastry we ate was unique and over the top delicious. A dear friend had my vegan birthday cake catered from the CoffeeBar Bakery and everyone, including the non vegans, asked for more. Great service too. We highly recommend you stop in, especially after a day of skiing, or just for a treat. Very easily accessible on Donner Lake Drive near the entrance to 90. Parking available. We are thrilled to have found this place.

Walk in and you'll be greeted by warm stuff (even on snowy days) and the mouth-watering smell of fresh baked goods. They offer a similar selection to what you'll find attached the Coffeebar coffee shop in Truckee, but with the experience of a bakery rather than a café. Great place to visit to see where the goods are coming from, but with the same excellent coffee you'd expect from a Coffeebar location.

This place is fantastic! My husband and I stopped in this morning to grab a cup of coffee and some breakfast on our way out of Tahoe. I had read good reviews and wanted to give them a try. We were definitely not disappointed! From the time we walked in the staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. The first thing we saw were the 2 cases of a huge variety of pastries and sweets and the hard task of choosing just a couple of items began. We ended up with a piece of coffee cake and a dozen pumpkin donut holes. I also ordered an iced honey almond latte with almond milk. If you need a pastry suggestion, get the coffee cake! Blueberry and cinnamon streusel combined in a moist and flavorful combination that was a delightful breakfast treat. Highly recommend. My husband was delighted with his pumpkin donut holes, though they are actually more like mini-muffins. He thought they were super tasty. The iced latte was good and I was very pleased to have dairy free options. It wasn’t super flavorful (I really couldn’t taste either the honey or the almond) but it was still yummy. Overall we would definitely stop in here again, and next time we’re definitely getting more pastries!

Every time I come here, I am always greeted by super friendly staff, and great service throughout the ordering process. The baked goods are amazing and perfectly crafted, not to mention many of them accommodate to food allergies, like gluten or dairy. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend or tourist.

Ended up here on a mid-trip Google search while desperate for coffee. I would have been happy with a cup of gas station swill... It was one those types of days. I was pleasantly surprised to see gibraltar on the menu and even more surprised at how good it was! Not to mention the delicious, gooey, marshmallow frosted, diabetic's nightmare of a brownie that accompanied it. Hats off to CoffeeBar Bakery! You gals made my day.

What a cute place in Truckee! Mocha was delicious. Not too sweet. And OMG, the baked goods!! Scrumptious pumpkin donut holes and snickerdoodles were delicious. Somewhere I'd stop more often, just off the freeway down the street from Safeway.

Stopped early Sunday morning on our way home to Idaho from California and it was the best decision we made! Incredibly kind employees, delicious baked goods, and yummy drinks made it an all around wonderful experience. Loved the pumpkin donut holes and coconut iced chai, especially. Looking forward to driving through Truckee again just so we can stop here again!
