Horrible. Trying to rent skis here is a horrible experience. Couple Covid in the situation and expect a 2 hour wait with not one employee being able to help you size boots. Bad bad bad.

Its a beautiful resort! We got there thursday and went skiing on Friday. It wasn't crowded so there was no wait at the ski lifts. They also have nice restaurants and bars.
Just a great place to stay, eat and enjoy your family. Tons of sports and activities to keep you busy. Everything is just a stones throw away from the Village.
Had an excellent time on the very well maintained bikes and trails. Special note to the gear fit/rental crew Rachel. C and Herman, I was especially grateful for their helpful and genuine attitudes to provide excellent service. Not like other shops that look down upon people that dont know exactly what they are doing and treat them poorly for being new to the sport.
Okay, this is like all other rental places. The ski boots are going to stink unless you buy your own pair you're stuck with them. The people here are very efficient and get you in and out quickly. The skis and supplies were good overall. I would rent from them okay. Easy to return things and very nice staff.
Knee Surgery and 2 Months of Painful Recovery, Thanks to Northstar Sports Northstar Sports rents bad, dangerous equipment. They don’t take responsibility for injuries caused. We rented skis here in January, and they caused my partner to break his leg. Northstar Sports and the Northstar resort have ignored us entirely. My partner is a beginner skier, and we even told the shop employee to set the bindings to be loose. The staff brushed us off, though, and said that “everything was on the rental sheet.” After rushing us through, when we went to meet his instructor for a lesson, we found that they hadn’t even adjusted the bindings for size. The skis even had another person’s name on them, from a few days earlier. After the instructor took him to fix the sizing, he was able to at least get his boots onto the skis. Everything seemed fine until he was making a slow turn on the bunny slope. His ski caught, wouldn’t turn, and since the bindings were set at an 8, didn’t release. The ski turned around as a large lever, twisted his knee, pulled his femur down into his tibia, and broke the bone from the top. Instant, blinding agony. Fast forward two months, past knee surgery and a long, painful recovery, and we still haven’t heard anything back from Northstar despite repeated attempts to contact them. Northstar doesn’t care about you. If you must ski at Northstar, and we likely won't again, rent your equipment elsewhere.
You think you’ve had a great customer service experience with smiles and a good attitude. Please! Brandon, Jess, and Case will run circles around your so called positive customer service experience. I totally won the customer service experience. FUNstastic! Live your best snow globe life. #LYBSGL Now it’s hot tub time.
There were only about 10 to 12 people trying to get rentals when we were there, but it seemed to take a LONG time since they only had two people at the second station. The staff were working HARD to try to get everyone through, but it took almost an hour? The prices weren't crazy, but nothing I would call a good value. The equipment was serviceable. The return was simple.
