CDC/FDA warning - Would only go here if you don’t care about their staff not wearing masks while they prep your food before you come in. Sandwiches are fine but have seen one staff member prep food, chop veggies, etc repeatedly without a face covering or gloves on probably 3-4 occasions now. Stopped going here solely because of him. One time I even walked in to say something to him and he was on his cellphone (no mask) and just stared at me acting like I was the burden. Never put on his mask or got off his phone. Haven’t been back since. No thanks.

Never had a worse experience trying to get a sub in my entire life. Right when I walk in this kid with airpods in didn't even respond when I say "good morning". He was really short with me when I was picking the items for my Sandwich. Then when orange favoring sprays all over my hand from the soda machine I grab some napkins from the counter and he yells at me that there is napkins in my bag and gave me a death stare like he wanted to fight me. I will never go back to any Port of Sub because of this experience.
Think Subway. Basically it’s almost identical. Nothing really that makes this sub shop stand out from the rest. The food was okay. The bread was good. Nice and soft. The cookies and brownies, however... While they may look good, go ahead and pass. They are super hard and not nearly as good as they look. If you’re in the mood for a good, but normal sub sandwich, then this is your place.
Individual who made my food was rude and treated me like I was a bother. And the sandwich isn't worth what you pay for it.
The sourdough bread was very stale. It’s not worth the calories to eat a sandwich with stale bread
I noticed the worker cut off a chunk of my bread.. didn't really think anything of it. After I was half way through.. I saw mold on the bottom of the bread. Just makes you wonder what other food safety practices they are not following!!!!!
Best sandwich shop in Truckee! We always look forward to coming here when we come up to the lake!
