Even with the constrictions of Covid 19 Penstraze wood yard always offer the best service and value. Staff are friendly and helpful. Sometimes hard to get through but they are busy because they are good.

My order took a week to be delivered as they had no means of protecting it for delivery during wet weather. Apparently the only transport they had was open-backed & they didn't have anything to cover it. Also, the 2x2 planed I ordered was in fact 1.75x1.75. That's a lot of planing & caused a lot of extra hassle. That said, the wood is reasonably straight & I can't argue with the price hence the 2 stars.
Dave and the team are brilliant i have used them for years. Dave is always able to give advice, just dont expect a smile Some of the reviews are so funny! What do you think will happen when you plane 2x2!
Excellent service and very good prices , phoned my order through in the morning and paid and my order was delivered with social distancing the same day
