It's a nice new hotel. My concerns: no bathroom hook (ideally on the door). Loud exhaust fan with no option to have it off with the light on, not enough plugs where the lamp was plugged in near the tv/center console. We needed 3, but could only plug in 2. The door had a rip. There was a bad view outside my window. The fridge was shaky and not on all 4 legs still. Bathroom hand towel hanging below the sink was not convenient compared to the side of wall. The AC cracked open near the window. For a new place, it's ironic so many things were already appearing broken.

First of all when we got there there was no one in the front desk, I’ve heard voices and went through a hallway and the front desk employee was in the housekeeping room talking on the phone with someone that appear that wasn’t a customer. We decided to stay was a 92.without taxes she gave us the room key went to “our” room the key didn’t work we tried it couple times by the third time we gave up and a person came out of the room cussed us out very aggressively and slam the door, she gave us a room that it was already occupied we went back and told her and the reaction wasn’t apologetic and didn’t gave us a feeling that was a big deal ( mind you is 11 o’clock pm went to our room I requested not to be in the same floor as the guy that we bother before, to try to sleep we’ve been on the road for over 8hrs to a room that the air conditioner doesn’t go lower than 65 and is in auto and wakes you up every time that it get to the temperature set, couldn’t sleep well and in the morning the curtains doesn’t cover the whole window and the sun peaks on the sides and there’s light coming through. We left early and went to the Courtyard.

This hotel was recently acquired by Holiday Inn Express and therefore it's still a work in progress as renovations are occurring. I'm actually surprised they are accepting reservations considering the front door area is under construction so you have to enter by the side door. While the lobby and floor that I stayed on were primarily finished, details were still missing such as no towel rack or bath towels in the bathroom (wash cloths and hand towels were brand new, when requested bath towels was given the old hotels branded towels so the new towels must not have arrived), no coffee maker in room, and they hadn't flushed the pipes in the room so the water in the sink and shower were tinged brown until it ran for several minutes. I've stayed at other hotels during renovations and they were thoughtful to put guests in rooms not near construction, but I wasn't able to sleep-in due to construction above me (there should have been plenty of other rooms available as no other cars were in the parking lot when I arrived at night). I didn't even bother with getting the pitiful bagged breakfasts that IHG gives now due to COVID. When construction is finished, I expect this will be a convenient hotel if you want to be close to 285 though you can hear the traffic. The outdoor pool area also looks good for summer and there are restaurants nearby as well as a Target.
