Great food great service great family owned business. Owner hooked it up when the wait was a bit too long - we didn’t complain, they’re just those kind of people. Hopefully the new location will be even better for business, I know I’ll be back again and again as La Indita has become one of our favorite food stops through Tucson.

(January 2021) This place is wonderful. Family owned for almost forty years.. my daughter played with the grandson of the owner while we enjoyed fry bread with honey for dessert. The meals were the real deal. Met one of the cooks who grew up in the restaurant. Lots of strength in this family and their lives. This is the kind of place we’d visit weekly if we lived here. Sense of community and social justice is felt here. We hope to make it part of our lives in Tucson in the future. (February 2021) Back to Tucson for a February trip and the food continues to speak to my heart. Had barbacoa last night - the tortillas, the chips, the salsa.. I thought about taking a salsa back on the plane - last time we took a quart home in a cooler and drove home. It is slow at times, but that's because its made well and with heart. You might wait ten m ore minutes at busy times, but your body will thank you. We'll be back.
Absolutely amazing!!!! Everything was fantastic Jouse is phenomenal. Now the fry bread it DELICIOUS. They made it Veg for me with mushrooms, spinach & nopales. Everything was fresh and delicious. Their 90 year old grandma makes the tamales. Some to this place you will not be disappointed.
La Indita is a monument in Tucson. Fantastic food, friendly family, true mensches. They have to move to a new location because 4th ave is pricing them out. Give them a big tip/donation if you go here to help their moving costs and help save this beloved gem!!!
My boyfriend and I were visiting Tucson and stopped in La Indita for dinner. It was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had; the food was fantastic and tasted fresh and homemade, and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend La Indita!
Great traditional Mexican, you have to try the Mole, it's thick and spicy, best Mole this side of the border!!
Not your average tex mex restaurant. Unique dishes, along with some familiar ones, too. Delicious food! Good variety of vegetarian options, as well.
Delicious family owned restaurant. Good for vegans and vegetarians. Get the green corn tamale!
