Fabulous teacher. My two girls have been going to learn with Paul for nearly 2 years now. He has helped immensely. Both girls are in a band and Paul helps them with putting songs together and learning how and what they want with no pressure. He is very patient and willing to listen to what they require. I would highly recommend Paul Tugwell!

Great teacher. Very patient and knowledgeable about a wide range of music styles. Takes learning at the student's speed and is always very encouraging. Also gives sound advice on instruments.
I have been having guitar lessons with Paul for the past 2 years. When I started, I had never played the guitar before and was a little apprehensive. Paul immediately made me feel at ease and I have really enjoyed my lessons with him. He has taught me how to play all of my favourite songs and even helped me to sing to them. He has tutored me through an exam – which I passed with a merit! He is a very professional and friendly teacher and I feel that I have benefitted greatly from my lessons with him. I’m sad that I have recently had to stop my sessions due to moving house. I hope that I can find a guitar teacher as good as Paul in my new location and I highly recommend him if you are looking for a new guitar teacher.
What makes Paul a great tutor though isn't all his qualifications but the way he tailors his lessons to your needs never laboring too long on one idea but keeping the lessons fresh with different approaches to your difficulties
