Amazing is an understatement when it comes to Dr. Gaut. He assisted Dr. Dyer (who is amazing as well) with my first two surgeries. My first surgery was back in august 2nd one Nov. 11th. Then on April 21st, 2021 Dr. Gaut performed a very risky surgery to remove a very rare tumor in a very difficult spot and only .05% people have this tumor. He thought about referring me to more of a specialist but I insisted that he perform it as my faith was already with him as the first two surgeries were a complete success. He removed a 6cm a little bigger than lime sized tumor from the paraphargyneal (sp?) space. I was completely terrified to have this surgery because of the risks but Dr. Gaut went above and beyond to make me feel ok. He was very prompt with appts. He returned a phone call after I messaged him to call me and answered every question and addressed every concern I was having. He’s a Dr. who is caring & who actually lets you talk without interruption and actually listens. In which these things are very important to me. I didn’t feel like just another patient but rather someone he actually wanted to fix. I very rarely will write a review but he is one of the best and if you want to be heard and listened to and be taken very good care of Dr. Gaut should be your go too! Thank you Dr. Gaut for everything. You fixed me and made me feel safe while under your care.

I had perithyroid exploration performed by Dr. Gaut. It was no big deal. I liked him. I feel much better now and my endocrine doctor is pleased. The office staff was nice and helpful. My only complaint was that his surgery schedule was booked out longer than I would have liked.

I was referred to Dr. Gaut Otolaryngology Specialist by my primary physician due to a small knot forming along my jaw line in my neck. I first met with him in his office on 10-19-2020. He performed a cursory exam and immediately scheduled a CT scan which was performed on 10-21-20, performed a needle biopsy 10-23, scheduled & received a PET scan 10-30. He called me at home with the results on Monday 11-2-20 to report his findings. Made a pre-op appointment 11-19 and surgery was performed on 11-27 which he did a fantastic job. Dr. Gaut then after receiving my pathology report showing some malignancy found, my information was immediately sent to radiation at Saint Francis to schedule an appointment. I could not have been more blessed with a better caring, understanding, thoughtful & concerned doctor. I would have given him 10 stars if it were possible. He is the best in my book.
