My son was referred to a doctor at St. John ENT. It has been chaos just getting him seen. First, he gets scheduled (which, like all working parents know, means I have to rearrange my schedule to accommodate) and then the day before he’s to be seen I get a phone call that went to voicemail at 4:59 pm letting me know they’ve changed his appointment time (because the slot they scheduled him for won’t be enough time-not sure what this even means) and if it’s not going to work for me I’ll need to call back the next day to change it. Well, of course it’s not going to work for me. I have a job, too. Then, they reschedule him with a PA, which is not who our doctor referred him to, but ok. Finally, it’s a virtual appointment. To check enlarged turbinates, septum issues and fluid on the ear. The office staff were polite, though. I’ll update after we’ve actually made it in to see the doctor.

The receptionist was super nice. I drove 2 hours for this appt. I arrived 20 minutes early. I was asked to be 15 early. I was then sat in the exam room for an hour. I left. I told them I was leaving. They offered to reschedule. No thanks! I live on an extremely limited income. I do not have the money for gas to drive back and forth repeatedly. I wanted a tank of gas, that could have purchased groceries. It would have been nice, if someone would check in with the patient and let them know the doctor is running behind. But instead.... crickets. I arrived at 12:40p.m. left at 2:15 p.m. never seen. If you want to waste your time, go ahead.

After a similar phone experience...I contacted the office manager myself. I was ASSURED the issues with customer service were going to be addressed. She was lovely and the docs have a great reputation I look forward to seeing Dr. Buchanan.

I want to know how every dr in the office is on vacation at the same time? Holiday or not! Someone should be able to see patients even if it is a PA.

Dr. Bull is great but the scheduling and office staff need some additional training in customer service. Its always a chore to contact the office.

Front office attendant at broken arrow office is an idiot, condescending, and, quite honestly, is single-handedly making me want to switch ENT’s just so I don’t have to deal with her ever again.
