This pharmacy is shameless disgraceful scam. It charged me 300 pesos for a simple zirtec and a antiseptics. Avoid it.

If you need any medicine for an ailment, I would heartily advise you not to go to this place. My wife had a congested sinus brought on by allergies. She normally uses a nasal spray called Flonase (with the active ingredient Fluticasone) that we get over the counter in the US, but didn’t bring with us to Mexico. Yesterday I showed the pharmacist at this store the Flonase info online on my phone, and he first tried to sell us a simple salt water nasal spray. My wife has tried this in the past and it’s completely ineffective with unclogging her Eustachian tubes. The pharmacist then went to the back room and brought out a small box labeled ‘Fluticasone’ containing what we thought was a nasal spray. Seemed great, right? I bought it for about 450 pesos, but when we opened the box at our hotel, it turned out to contain an inhaler! He clearly understood we needed a nasal spray and not an inhaler (as for athsma), but was clueless about what was in the box. When I went to the store today, they refused to take it back, saying they only accept an item for return on the same day you buy it! So, the inept pharmacist sells us medicine that is clearly wrong and not what we explained we needed, then refuses to take it back. I know he understood us and that this was not a case of a language gap. After all, the salt water spray he first tried to foist on us was a nasal spray. My advise about Union Pharmacy: AVOID... or caveat emptor!
