Absolutely Amazing!! Communication leading up to our visit was great, they were very helpful with directions and very accommodating to our schedule needs. The menu to choose from is fantastic. Everything looked so amazing it was hard to not choose them all. We shared nice ice cool beer while cooking. We learned so much through the process with all of the tips and tricks they shared with us. The helper was an awesome guy! At the end of class we all sat and shared our beautiful meal on the upstairs patio during the sunset. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. It was like cooking at your best friends house.

Chefs Lina and Miriam are two sisters who have opened their custom built rooftop kitchen for private dinner classes based on traditional Mexican cooking. Both are friendly and very knowledgable, especially with anything to do with peppers and moles. The food was excellent, there was plenty to drink, and the company was inspiring. Bring an open mind and a willingness to learn and you will have a great evening! The whole evening was about 4.5 hours and proved to be a great option for a night out in Tulum. We would not hesitate to go back if given the opportunity.

Last night, my wife and I enjoyed a terrific cooking class hosted by Miriam. We roasted all of the fresh ingredients, she explained the process of making fresh mole sauce, we made our own masa, pressed our tortillas. She answered all of our questions about the food. She was very patient with us as we really didn't know what we were doing. This was the best part of our trip to Tulum. We highly recommend this for couples or family. My favorite was the tortilla soup. OMG AMAZING.

We had a great time at Lina's kitchen. Muriel took our class and she was very welcoming. Drinks flowed and the food we cooked was really tasty!

Our experience at Lina's Mexican Kitchen was everything we had imagined. We were 2 adults and 2 children. Our children were so happily involved with the food preparation, that I let them do most of the 'work' while I observed, helped, sipped beer, and enjoyed the afternoon. The food we made was unreal. Everything was so flavorful yet light. Riquisimo! We walked to the corner afterward and took a cab back to Playa del Carmen, about 45 mins away. I loved the upstairs custom kitchen and patio, working with so many exotic fresh ingredients, like cacao, and being able to choose dishes to prepare from a few different places in Mexico, including the Yucatan and Oaxaca. Saludos a Lina, Miriam y familia - y por supuesto a Donato. Esperamos vernos de nuevo.

Wow, I'm surprised to find this listed on Google Maps ;-) Great homemade tamales though, glad I went there.
