Jelena is incredibly masterful at her craft. On the plane ride from Seattle I must have sat in a bad position. By the time I got to Tulum my back pain was such the I needed my wife’s help to get me up. I found Jelena on google and she got me in 48 hours later. While my back was getting a bit better (still in pain but could get up through the pain on my own) by the time I saw her, I was terrified of the plane trip back! She worked with me for an hour. I am back home and the flight was easy with the training she gave me. I am confident that I will be using things she taught me for the rest of my life. I was with her an hour. Jelena is a special type of healer. We are already planning our next time in Tulum and I will be making an appointment to see her. Pain or no pain.
Jelena is the most gifted healer I have ever come across. I travel the world almost full time with my work and I make a point of exploring the local healers and practitioners everywhere that I go. Jelena’s work moves the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual body in a way that I’ve never experienced before. Having sessions with her is what has called me back to Tulum and I am genuinely humbled and honoured to have met her. The physical healing is epic and the space she holds for you to respect and understand yourself is vast. I describe Jelena as ‘the body whisperer’ to my friends when I try to explain what she does. It’s impossible to put a price on the work she does. Forever grateful for you!
I’ve experienced a lot of different practitioners and this one was unique and well worth it. If you’re visiting Tulum on vacation and get the desire to have a reiki treatment or the ‘manifest your meaning’ (what I did), I would definitely check this place out.
To give you a quick sum up, I have been in a chronic pain for 8 years now with very little sleep in my life. I also was injured in a grave ski accident and was starting to lose hope. I have seen all: chiro, osteopath, neurologue, pain specialists, surgeons, and then acupuncture, diet change, hypnosis, the list is too long and I am writing about Jelena, not me. Basically tried anything and everything I could think of and finally chance brought me to her in Tulum. You cannot fit her in a case of society. She is an osteopath, as much as a yoga teacher, a healer, a reiki expert. She literally customized a healing session based on who I was and what my problems were instead of trying to fit what she knows and does on me. I am far from done and healed but a beacon of hope is finally shining all these years. For the sceptics, please go and see for yourself and please try to keep an open mind it will do wonders for you. I hope to see her again one day, in the meantime I might take virtual classes here and there with her. A true gem in the world of recovery.
