I saw Dr Youngblood a few months ago for chronic lower back pain. My first time seeing a chiropractor, I was a little skeptic on what to expect and if it really worked. He sat down and we discussed overall health, symptoms, causes, and what to expect during my visit. After that, Dr Youngblood performed a very thorough assessment, explaining his findings and relating it back to my pain. Finally, the adjustment. Awesome. He explained everything he was doing and rechecked pain level and range of motion after every move. I can honestly say that I felt 80% better walking out the door and the day after, 100%. I was blown away by the results. After about a month the tightness and loss of range of motion started to show back up. I have chronic back pain, both from injury and genetics. So, thinking all chiropractors were the same, I “bargain shopped”. I found a place and bought a family plan to be able to go as much as I wanted for a month. I went 3-4 days a week for a month. I never had the same relief that I did after 1 visit from Dr Youngblood. I would tell them about my pain and the treatment didn’t change, adjust back, adjust neck, out the door. I’m not saying it didn’t help, just nowhere near as much. I have worked in health care for over 15 years, I know that no 2 patients are the same, and the value of an assessment to locate the issue and treat accordingly. At the other place, every treatment, every patient was the same. Today I went back to Dr Youngblood. My back pain returned as it always does, but it changes in intensity, location, and radiation. Guess what happened, a full assessment! The treatment changed and the pain was relieved! No pressure to come back tomorrow, no pushing to sign a contract and drop a lot of money. Just an assessment, treatment, and relief. Isn’t that what you expect when you go to the dr? Long story short, I HIGHLY recommend Dr Youngblood and am done shopping around.
