I literally don’t even know where to start. Dr. Sawa and his staff are the MOST friendliest, sweetest, hardworking staff I’ve ever met. Highly professional and have just an awesome attitude. I had a miscarriage in the past and was under the care of Golden Valley Health and it was HORRIBLE! I was very hesitant that I’d find a great doctor and I am so pleased and comfortable with Sawa. From getting paperwork for leave to changing prescriptions to doing an extra ultrasound because of my anxiety... he is just a godsend. Very very happy with him and would HIGHLY recommend him to everyone.

Can I give Dr. Sawa 100 stars? Because he deserves them. Not only is he an emergency c-section machine, he provided the best, most thought-out and attentive care I could have asked for. Throughout my pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum experiences, he never pressured or B.S.ed me in any way, and he gave pragmatic advice and helped me make solid decisions at every turn. I felt very secure and heard the whole time, and I’m super glad to have him on my healthcare team. Edited to add a major shout-out to Jody. She is such an integral part of making this a smooth operation—she was always on top of all communication through the Sutter app, and her warm, friendly personality made me feel comfortable upon arriving at each appointment. Thanks, Jody!

If I could give Dr. Sawa 5000 star review I would! I made the switch, I believe, over 4 years ago and it was the best move I made. The previous OBGYN doctor I had was not motivating, as to me having a baby at the age of 40. My previous doctor would stress me out by telling me my clock is ticking. Dr. Sawa is very patient and positive. He always pleasant with my husband and me during my pregnancy! Yes, I got pregnant once I made the switch. Well, it took almost 2 years but it happened. I was so glad that Dr. Sawa was the on call doctor when my daughter decided to come out 4 days prior to Dr. Sawa setting up my induced labor appt. Couldn't be more satisfied with Dr. Sawa and his medical team!!!

I’m sorry but I was not happy with Dr Sawa. I had a missed miscarriage and he didn’t tell me anything or what to look out for. He told me I was going to have menstrual cramp like feeling when I was going to miscarry and the pain was worse than a period cramp. I was bleeding a lot for about 4 hours and he didn’t give me anything to look out for! He wasn’t sympathetic and didn’t give me time to grieve from work.

Dr. Sawa was the doctor on call who delivered my eldest son. Since that time he has been my primary OB/GYN. I appreciate the time he takes to listen to his patients and also the time he takes to make sure I understand what is happening. I've since had 2 more pregnancies with him as my doctor and could not imagine seeing anyone else. There never was a doctor who clearly loves what he does as much as Dr. Sawa which gives me a great peace of mind and heart, especially when it comes to the care of my unborn children. My husband Kevin and I are so thankful for him!
