I finally know why the score of this hospital is so poor. Today my dog \u200b\u200bfell from the stairs and his legs couldn’t fall on the ground. We came to this hospital and the dog was carried in by them at five o’clock. We were waiting in the hospital parking lot. We waited until 9 o’clock in the evening, and there was no news. No, I called and asked about the progress. They said it hasn't started yet, which means that we waited for four hours for nothing and they did nothing.....If your hospital is busy, you can tell the guests that you don’t need to be here. Keep waiting, but they don’t say anything, their service can be said to be really non-existent

The place that is attached to this place vet surgical center is top notch. They did a great job on my dogs surgery couldn’t Recommend them any more. This 24 hour place on the other hand apparently they only work when they want. Drove over an hour to bring my dog here because the leg she had surgery on wasn’t working and she was whimpering not able to use it. This place is attached to the surgery center. I figured it would be great all the sam. That’s a big NO. They told me they couldn’t see my dog because they were done for the night only if it was life or death. So I guess if they think your dog is worth it they’ll take a look at them. Good luck I wouldn’t recommend them if you’re in a pinch. I’m also writing this at midnight which is the advised time on their website to bring non life threatening cases (12am-4am).

I didn't have a good experience with this practice. The doctors are knowledgeable and absolutely capable of performing certain procedures and giving you the right diagnosis, but they were always too busy (or arrogant?) to explain the treatment plan, side effects of the medications prescribed, etc., and that lack of information influenced my decisions. For the money spent here, one would expect to get more than two minutes of attention \per exam.\ Unfortunately, these expectations were unrealistic in my case. I simply didn't understand why certain procedures were recommended, or why my prescription was not filled on time... This facility was horrible at communicating with me and my pet's treatment team, which to me seems completely disrespectful and unprofessional. In the midst of fighting the disease my pet struggled with, I had to go through this facility's ignorance and lack of professionalism or basic empathy. In the end, this whole experience made it difficult to trust AVIM and often left me feeling frustrated, hopeless, and puzzled. Don't expect your calls or emails to be returned and prepare to \beg\ for their attention if your pet is seriously ill and you need information on your pet's treatment plan, medication, or updates. Oh, and so you know, there will be no words of support or a sympathy call or card from your primary vet if your pet ends up dying. Why would they waste their valuable time on a dead animal and its grieving family when they don't even care to talk to you while your little friend is still alive?! If you can choose whom to talk to, Alexandra, the receptionist, is great at her job.

Its never easy when you have to leave your pet in someone else's care when they are sick or not feeling well. My family and I were so grateful for the care that we received from AVIM. Our dog Lilo was diagnosed with Cushing's Disease and received the best care and treatment from Dr Vorathavorn and her staff. We always felt confident that Lilo was going to be safe and well taken care of every time we dropped her off. Dr Vorathavorn, Rianna and the rest of the staff always took time to address all my questions, concerns and walked us thru the process each and every time. My family and I greatly appreciate AVIM.
