Sloppy work that's all I have to say. Waiting for them to fix the mistakes. I had this company install the patio cover 3 weeks ago and after they were done we've notice so many flaws. I called and ask them to come fix the mistakes. First, they showed up the following Saturday unannounced and I wasn't home. I asked them to set an appointment for me and I'll be there to unlock the gate. The next Saturday someone showed up just to inspect it. That same day, the original tech who installed it called me to set up an appointment for Monday; no one showed up or called me. I called the office Tuesday letting them know no one showed up. They told me someone left you a message to reschedule. No they didn't. So they said Wednesday between 8-10am ok fine. They showed up at 1pm after I called saying no one showed up at the time frame. All they did was inspect again saying they don't have the material to do it. They are so unprofessional and unprepared to do the job. I emailed the owner telling him of this incident. He said that was totally unacceptable and the crew chief will be out this Saturday between 9-11am to fix the problems. He calls me at 10am saying he need to go get the materials still and asks if he can come tomorrow. I said no I need you out here today to fix the mistakes. Do not recommend; poor customer service.

Poor communication very difficult to get a hold of to fix their mistakes. Had a 9,000 patio cover installed. Called right away because during the install some of the finish was scratched off and I wanted it touched up to to avoid paint peeling off around these spots. They asked me to send follow up emails with photos and I did. The president emailed me right away saying they would fix it but ghosted me after that. After a while I gave up they just ignored my calls and emails until I give up. Later I noticed the edge has a rain gutter and down spout it doesn't drain properly to a side since it sags in the middle. I guess the Installer didn't have a 4' level. Moisture collects in it and it drips almost daily on things under the cover. Some corrosion is starting to form from this still in the middle of June. I have to move patio furniture because my patio cover drips water it condenses on it. I have called 7 times now including a cell number someone gave me. I left messages every time. Luckily Ralph the quoting person was nearby and came out and took a look. He told me that it was wrong it is missing a downspout and that it should not be dripping like that especially with how dry it is. Since they will not contact me I think I will need to hire another company to fix this and depending on the amount try to fight them for it.
Had an in home quote, once the guy got the jist that we wanted to think about us, he told us “prices are going up in two days “ and instead of saying I can lock you in at the qtd price I’m giving you today to give you time to think about it he just told us it’s going to go up by Monday. We asked “well how soon would you be able to come back out if we decide to move forward to do paperwork?” He said “oh no we’re booked with appointments for 2-3 weeks out so once I’m gone I’m gone”. That is NOT a way to earn someone’s business. Someone called to follow up with me and I told him what happened and advised I will NOT be going with their company due to their salesman’s actions he responded well I’m glad you found another company to take care of what your looking for. Never did I say I found someone else, didn’t address or apologize for the salesman’s actions , didn’t care about losing business. Would 100% NEVER recommend using this company. They definitely need a lesson in customer service.
My wife and I are very happy with the service we received and the finished product is beautiful. The price was reasonable and installation done quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend LJ Hausner to anyone.
We recently had work done by LJ Hausner Construction. Ralph was our point of contact. He was great with communicating with us via text or call. The cover really brought the whole property together. Looks amazing!!
