My wife and love Ruff House....and so does our dog! Their staff is awesome and the facility is very clean. We like that we can watch our dog right from our smart phone. The prices are really good as well. Highly recommend!
Been bringing our two large dogs (Lab and Golden) for years. The staff works well with the dogs and cares for them like they are their own. Large play area and you can even "peek" in using the web cam. Clean, bright - you can't go wrong here
Really great place to leave your dogs. They housed my dog during our vacation in October. Fair rates, good housing and awesome staff. They actually let your dog out to play which I love. Overall really great experience and I'd recommend coming here if you need to board your dog. I'll be back.
Love the staff at Ruff House! Every time we board our dog, she pulls us inside, tail wagging!! Everyone knows her by name & shows her lots of love! Highly recommend!
My fur child definitely loves coming here. And I love that he comes home exhausted. I like that they have cameras and I can watch him play with the other dogs. There's separate areas for the big dogs and little dogs. Everyone I've met so far has been really great too. They offer training and some grooming as well. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because I would love it if he could be outside for a little bit. Very solid 4.5 stars.
I finally have time to review. Things I liked: clean facility, cameras in (some) rooms, and (some) of the staff members were nice. However, I stopped taking my puppy here when I saw strange behavior from a few of the staff members. One day, I forgot my air spray at the facility. Then as I watched remotely on the camera, I saw one male staff member randomly spay it at the face of some dog to taunt it. That was strange bullying behavior towards a dog that didn't do anything wrong to warrant it. So I imagined, if that's what I can see on camera, what does this staff member do when there's no camera??? Two: another staff member who was female, yelled at my puppy for barking and would often have an attitude because my puppy wanted to play. So instead of playing with her or allowing my puppy to be playful, they would just put her in the cage, which had no cameras for viewing. I was sick to my stomach because every time I went to go online to see my puppy, I would find out she was in the cage. They would constantly put her in the corner or in a cage if she wanted to play with other dogs. Now, I understand training, but that was too much. She was easily trained and it was excessive cage time. This all happened in the little dogs section. But in the big doggy area, I saw another staff member joyfully playing with the dogs. So just be careful, some of the staff is good but just know, two of them I had met were not trustworthy. So I finally decided to take my puppy to an outdoor doggy day care called: The bone adventure in Costa Mesa. I spend a lot of money there and I am happy to have made the change.
I took a tour today of the facility and it is absolutely amazing. The care given to all of the animals is top notch and I look forward to leaving my dog here soon.
