It was a really nice 3 mile round trip walking/hiking trail with a small oasis at the end. Its pretty cool going from sandy mountains to a small shady area with amphibians and bees. You do hike up 350 ft in elevation and back down 300 so if you have breathing issues may be difficult.

A wonderful hike up from a sizable packing lot. The hike up to the pass can be a bit challenging especially when the sun is way up. There is no drinking water at the trailhead and in the oasis. A gradual decent to the oasis that’s full of life. Some cascading water pools might be naturally muddy but still plenty lovely. Highly recommended.

This is great hike but please leave your dogs and drones at home. Big horned sheep need to use this area to access water at night, and you will scare them off if you don't follow the rules! Big hills and big steps, so bring water! You're in for some cardio

Awesome hike! I went fairly early in the morning,so the trail wasn't very crowded. The multitude of desert landscapes I hiked through were really neat! The great surprise at the end point, is the magnificent oasis! Super tranquil. I sat down on the HUGE rocks, and listened to the water trickling throughout the stream below. Masks are required, but you won't need to wear it while you're hiking, unless you come upon another fellow hiker. Next time,I will wear a knee brace though, as there are some steep steps, both going up,down. I can't wait to go back and do it again!

Nice hike. Full sun most of the way so plan accordingly for your abilities and the temperature. Nice views on the valley on the first stretch and the trail ends at the oasis. Still a little water left at the very end of November.
