Great little place and always helps me out for glass for my home furniture upcycling projects!
Needed to have a piece of glass cut to an awkward size. I gave the dimensions over the phone to Peter, who was very helpful, no need for a template, got a call the next day to say it was ready and was only charged 35. I found the service very professional.
If I would post no stars if I could. Stood waiting at the counter for ages on a quiet Friday morning before anyone came. I was made to feel from the outset that I was an interruption. All I wanted was a little piece of glass with a hole drilled in it. The reaction was a roll of the eyes and a grimace, then a demand as to what I wanted it for. When I explained (perfectly pleasantly although irrelevant (it's just a little bit of glass with hole in it)) I was told it was a measuring instrument and they don't do glass for measuring instruments. It's his prerogative to decline awkward business I guess but you would have thought I was asking the guy to jump through burning hoops on my behalf; so I went to Knights Glass at Sunbury Cross and following a reasonable conversation around what they could do for me versus what I needed we had a solution in minute with a smile. I wonder which of the two I'll use when I come to buy the thousands of pounds worth of glazing I'll shortly be needing?
