I recently visited The Optical Gallery and had an amazing experience. They have the best range of unique and tasteful glasses and their staff go above and beyond to help you. I’m so happy with my unforgettable experience! I honestly cannot fault them in any way and will recommend them to everyone. Will definitely be back! :)

From the warm and professional welcome, to the thorough and careful testing, this place is a marvel! They deal with everyone courteously and with full attention, so my daughter (on the autistic spectrum, with dyslexia) is treated with careful regard, and is properly listened to, and is given the same level of explanation and the chance for her to be heard as I am. Amar (my optician today) tested me, was able to show me reassuring images that my eyes weren't suffering from diabetic damage, as well as being able to tell me that my glasses were still doing the best job for me. On top of that, they repaired my daughter's glasses (which had suffered some accidental damage) free of charge. I usually say 'shop local'. I'm lucky that The Optical Gallery is local to me - but even if it isn't local to you, I would recommend that you make the journey to choose them! Thanks to all their staff for their help!
Great customer experience in the Optical Gallery. Very friendly, relaxed yet professional. What makes the Optical Gallery different to other opticians is that you get a really personalised experience, where you can look at a wide variety of glasses and styles to ensure you pick one that suits you and the team will sit with you for as long as it takes which is great. What I like about the glasses is that as well as classic styles, the shop stocks different ones not seen that often which great. Overall a great opticians who offer great products and a service that is value for money. Highly recommend
I have been coming to this Optician since I first needed glasses, so the better part of 10 years. The customer service is always exceptional; I can be quite an awkward person, eg laughing in the middle of eye exams, taking 20 minutes to get a contact lens in because I'm laughing, or being very indecisive when it comes to frames. They're always so patient, and give very honest advice about the glasses you're picking. And the glasses they stock? GORGEOUS! They literally have something for everyone. Classic frames? Check. Unusual niche frames? Double check. Indie, or vintage, or NHS frames? Check, check and check. I've only been to one other opticians when I lived out of the country and frankly it didn't hold a candle to The Optical Gallery. Plus, who doesn't love supporting a local business?
I was looking for a local run business which could take of my personal sight requirements and would ‘know’ me. As an older person the continuing health of my eyes and the changing requirements for glasses are very important to me. I have been with OG for many years and have been very satisfied with their service, advice and recommendations for glasses. I did stray for a period of a year or so with SpecSavers and one other but found the impersonal service not to my taste. So I am very glad that I came back. As a clumsy person, I have sat or lain on my glasses and Nic has made some running repairs to get me going again without charge, when this has been possible.
