Just had dinner with my wife. Server spilled my wife’s entire drink in her lap and then said they would get her another one to replace it. Fifteen minutes later my wife still did not have a drink. When we asked, our waitress said she put the order in and would check on it. When she finally received her drink the waitress made sure to let my wife know that we would not be charged for the second drink, and made sure we knew it was not her fault but it was the server’s fault. To which my wife replied that she would hope that we were not charged for the drink because she was unable to drink her first one and was wearing it. (First time I have ever had a drink spilled on me and ended up paying for it.) I’m not going to talk about the fact that our order was incorrect when we received it and when asked to correct the problem it never actually got corrected. I would like to mention though that when we received our check we didn’t even get an itemized receipt to verify that we were not charged for the drink that was spilled on my wife’s lap. Now this may be our fault but my wife handed the waitress our card, when we flagged her down, so we could pay our check that we had not received. When the waitress came back there was no itemized receipt showing us what we paid for. We would have asked for one but she disappeared and did not come back. Basically we felt like we were ignored and treated like second class citizens. I would not recommend even though I have been a fan of Rock Creek for most of my adult life. Great food but service continues to decline year after year.

I wanted to like this place. Heard great things from a former resident. But the wait was long, the service perfunctory, and the food okay. Wanted Oysters Rockefeller but they ran out, so I went with St. Patrick's Oysters (bacon & cheese). Oysters were too milky and overly briny, cheese made it too salty, needed something creamy to offset the crusty cheese. Prime rib & lobster combo weren't bad. My family says the steak they ordered needed salt & more flavor. Portions seemed chintzy too. Jakers is way better for the money.
Food is as good as any high end restaurant in large metropolitan city's. A home town restaurant with an incredible staff and chef's. Definitely a destination restaurant for KC Car Washes and crew.
Everyone are hometown folks, friendly service good food, got seated right away. No weirdness or gimmicks like most new restaurants. Well established and a twin falls iconic place for longer than I can remember. 40 plus years.
It's a little spendy and their portions have gotten a lot slimmer, but the food drinks and service are always great! 160 for 3 of us. I'd say its a once or twice a year place to eat.
Wounderful food great staff. The lighting isn't the best. For a date night though its wounderful
The food was pretty good. I was surprised to see a packed bar and full restaurant and not 1 person, except the mgr, wearing a mask. Any other restaurant we have gone to, the staff wears masks and customers wear masks entering and leaving the restaurant. I won't go there again.
Went there for a birthday. It was very good and I would recommend that place to everyone.
