I would caution anyone doing business with the owners of these cabins. We reserved the 4 cabins in July 2016 for the week of 4th of July 2017 for a vacation with extended family from out of state. Both myself and my cousin spoke personally with the owner who told us the cabins were available but did not want to take a deposit until after the first of the year citing the possibility the cabins may be sold. The owner, Marge, took our information and said we would be contacted in January so that we could make the deposit, whether it was with them or the new owners, and followed up with a confirmation email of the reservation. She told us she didn't want to be transferring deposits if the property sold. We did not hear anything so made contact by email with them the first week of February. The original owners (Mike and Marge) responded to our email stating: "I'm sorry to have to tell you that two of our four cabins have been rented long term, which means that Cabins 4 and 1 are not available for the dates you requested." The email was from owners that we made the reservations with. I am appalled at their behavior and find them to be unscrupulous and deceitful. We are fully aware that reservations need to be made very far in advance especially for a large group during a holiday which we did; plans had been made and vacations scheduled. We are now scrambling to find an alternative because these owners did not honor their word and gave away cabins we had reserved.

Awesome view of Twin Lakes and Mt Elbert. Cabin 3 was exactly what we needed for our Colorado adventures. Easy access to Buena Vista, Leadville, and Aspen (beautiful drive over Independence Pass). Great refuge to come back to and relax. Great dealing with Marge.
Fabulous! Great view, good cabins, terrific price. Highly recommended!
