Beautiful place and really fun experience on the canal. We went kayaking here and the staff were friendly, organised and safety-focussed. The kayaking was really nice and peaceful and an hour was a good amount of time to go up and down the whole canal. The facilities were great and they took care with making sure the equipment was clean by disinfecting it. The place is surrounded by lovely trees and landscape and the river. Would definitely recommend anyone who likes outdoor adventuring to go here, it is great! We will be back soon!

Great little hour dog wasn't too keen, friendly service. The only negative the young lad spoke too quietly about the safety talks and we were quite far away from him so we didn't catch everything however he was quite nervous, keep going young man you are doing great. Cafe service was fab too.

Really enjoyed this experience. Went on a kayak. The scenery was idyllic and very quiet. Saw some sticklebacks (fish) haven't seen these since I was young child. Thoroughly enjoyed it. There are a few locks that you can go over, this requires taking the kayak out and around and back into the water. This does require a bit of effort, well worth the effort though. The reeds were taller after a few locks, so became more of a challenging adventure. Fantastic few hours. There are other acticmciyues such as r person canoeing and knee paddle boards. There are no toilets or changing facilities at the waterside. However there's toilets available over the road by the cafe were there is a small car parking area. They were clean. The cafe near the water was well stocked and truly a blessing at the end. Will definetly go back. Well worth a walk here too. The canal has a great path down one side and a river the other side There's also a fairy walk, look out for the fairy houses along the path :-). Take a picnic and make the most of the day. The team here were a great bunch of people who were professional and friendly.

Loved our visit here, well organised and felt welcomed and safe at all times. Great location and good for families and friends. Some great cakes on offer after your trip on the canal! We’ll be back

Fantastic family friendly place. Had a great time on the water with the whole family. The staff members are attentive and gave a great safety briefing. Lovely coffee and cake were also available. Would highly recommend!
