Very cool place the hike is deadly but I would recommend.
Just look at it... The starting is already amazing! Newly built concrete road helps from the beggining (the first 4 km can be made by minibus transfer).

Starting/finish point has a nearby shop, little caffeterria in the truck. Not sure about the working hours, but it was nice to have a hot drink after a long walk back down at 8pm at the bottom where we started. Parking shorter term is from 300NOK longer 600NOK. The parking that is lockated after bendy 400m rise serpantinas cost 500NOK. Saves you a quite steep climb of 4km,but you have to be early there to get a spot ot opens 5:30am and fills up quickly. It is only sad to see being irresponsible and leaving rubbish there even though there is no bin established for that.
Be aware of the high parking charges here, we planned an overnight camp on the mountain and the parking charge for two days was 700 krone, equivalent too 70. There are toilets, a small shop, which was not fully open yet but staff did allow us in to buy some snacks for the trip. The route to trolltunga is well marked and if planning to camp, look to camp about 3-4 km prior to Trolltunga, as beyond this point it's mainly rock or very uneven ground. My rating is for the starting point only, the hike was fabulous.
