Hotel looks nice enough on entry but standard rooms are very cramped, as is the bathroom and shower. They’re also very basic and carpet not the cleanest. Breakfast was decent enough. The most annoying thing though is extra payment for sauna & swimming. These should be included as standard. They even had the gall to charge us for a tiny little toothpaste as we’d forgotten ours. Still can’t get my head around that one. Assured us there was an iron in the room. You actually needed to pick one up from reception. Amazed they didn’t charge for that as well

The hotel is situated in a nice place, although the street is a bit noisy during the night. The restaurant is trying hard to provide modern cuisine (sometimes it would not hurt to step down a little bit and offer something more regional, not so fancy, but that's up to everyone's taste), the wellness and other facilities are superb. The rooms however are mediocre at best. We had a room facing south, no air conditioning, no blinds in the windows, just translucent curtains – which meant poor air quality. The bathroom had a problem with plumbing (shower drain was probably clogged). The hotel was modernized in the recent years, but the workers did a sloppy job. For example the upper closet was almost useless as the ceiling light blocked it's doors.
Great experience overall. Room for a person is small but neat. Shops, Restaurants are nearby, so thats good.
The restaurant in this hotel is above average, certainly one of the best in Tabor. The food is of great value and quality is comparable to Prague. My favorite spot for weekend regular lunches.
Hotel is being updated and has quite a nice style, basic rooms but great amenities with a good location in Tábor
stayed just one night, good location and nice breakfast, hotel room clean and basic (got room for three as two bed was not available)
There was an unsecure WiFi connection. The whirlpool is small (only for 6 people). Some receptionists were very lazy and very arrogant - when we needed to pay, we had a feeling that we were annoying them. Sorry for that. We thought you were paid for sitting there and handling hotel guests' requirements/needs and not for chatting there with your friend. Incredible. One concrete waiter behaved the very same way. At first, when we came to a restaurant to have a dinner, we were seated and we were told what is being served that evening. Nice. Then for the next 10-15 minutes nothing happened. Fine. The waiter avoided us so we told to a waitress they probably forgot about us. Then we had to wait for another 10-15 minutes. It was ridiculous as the food had been prepared and was served to another guests, who came after us. The waitress neither apologized for their mistake and delay nor asked after meal if everything was okay. Secondly, later that day, we went to a restaurant bar almost 2 hours before closing time. The very same waiter seemed to be angry only about our appearance and generally about the fact that we came to spend some money there. We were told to hurry because they are closing soon - so we ordered only two coffees. He prepared it badly and it was disgusting. I can understand that he was counting some sales there by the bar but his behaviour was completely unprofessional. The whole hotel is just one big overpriced and hilarious theater. We are never ever coming back there. Money waste.
Great experience, superb restaurant, it would be even better if the rooms had air conditioning. Also, the 10am checkout time is unusual and awkward.
