Wow, I wish I read the reviews before coming here. (Although, it wasn't our fault. I originally booked a U-haul at a different location, and they sent me here.) All the one-star reviews are spot on. I can't believe their management doesn't fire the staff! The girl working at the front desk gave exceptionally poor service. Overall, she was very rude and had a bad attitude. She got incredibly irritated when we didn't understand what address she was asking us for. Then she told us the instructions on how to go find our U-haul so fast we could barely follow what she said, and she just turned and walked away. And then when we came back in the office after inspecting the vehicle, to make sure there wasn't a next step, she stared at us like we were dumb. I swear, it was like talking to a disinterested teenager. Horrible.

Do not bother to go to the U Haul on 46th Street for Propane. Not only do they not have it, parking is a problem. This U Haul on Frontage Road does have propane.... but waiting for anyone to come fill a tank can be a long one.

If I could give 0 stars I would. ALL 4 employees did not greet me or give me attention when I walked in. Not too mention the girl that was there had her head down the whole time and when a coworker asked her for help, she just gave me an attitude and was no help other than basically saying I was "S-O-L" of getting a truck and rubbed the fact that I was late in my face. They did not know how to function the mobile pick up and I was severely inconvenienced and did not even get a truck, which I had reserved. So I had to call another store on N Lamar where they were phenomenal and very helpful. Will NOT EVER return to this store and will deter friends from this store as well. Very upset at this experience as it was my FIRST experience renting a uhual.

Nisha gave us a great experience, my girlfriend and I are from out of town, our car broke down, we were stressed but she made everything run smoothly and made us laugh. She was very kind and we appreciate that she made our day a little better even with the craziness going on. Thank you Nisha.

I'm really impressed by the service at this place actually. Everyone there seems down to earth and polite. U-haul is kind of a weird place that seems to hire a lot of weird people but they company has actually always been super flexible with whatever I needed - when I needed a truck for an extra day, I just kept it, same rate as before with no extra fees or anything. They called me because they expected it back, and when I said I was keeping it an extra day, they had no problem. When I accidentally took a toll road, they billed me for the toll like a month later, with a (I think pretty reasonable) 1 convenience fee. So I'm impressed.

Kaylee May made sure my experience at U-Haul University was fantastic. I showed up without the equipment I needed to rent a trailer, and she was so responsive, positive, and helpful even though I was stressed beyond reason. She made such a difference in my day and I feel lucky I ended up in her line! It was a BUSY Saturday at U-Haul and Kaylee was warm and kind to me and everyone else in the shop. Quincy Styles was the biggest blessing to me today. Today was the most stressful day for me (how moves usually are) and he took a huge weight off of my shoulders. His customer service was immaculate, he was able to promptly answer any questions i had and offered quick solutions so i didn’t have to deal with a thing. I am SO grateful he was working there today. I can not thank him enough!!
