We've been to many of these "pediatric specialists" under the UBMD umbrella. Most of them are pompous and rude. They all think within a tiny box, and if they can't figure out what's wrong with your child, they just drop them instead of trying to find a reason and a cause for the child's ailments. They treat parents who are advocating for their sick child like they are morons even if they are knowledgeable about their child's condition and symptoms. The staff who answers the phones are rude and always seem like you're just a nuisance when you call for appointments or results. They rarely without multiple calls get the messages to the doctors and you're lucky if you get called back. It's pretty sad when the nurses working in the hospital this group is associated with tells you to go out of town to help your child. Even if your child has multiple undiagnosed problems they rarely refer them to somwone who can figure it out, and for the most part leave their little patients and their parents twisting in the wind, searching for answers and trying to find out of town help. These groups are a black stain on the medical field, and they pump them out a dime a dozen from UB. Very unsatisfactory effort and results from any of these so called professionals..
