The UCI Men's Health Center is a great place to get medical services. The staff is caring and efficient. It is in a great location and a comfortable setting in which to get treatment.

This place has great doctors but the staff is really bad! After my visit with Dr. Landman I was told to stay in the room for the nurse to come. I nearly waited for an hour and no one came. Finally I walked out of the room and as I was approaching the lobby I noticed the 2 staff ladies coming back from outside with bags of lunch! They had gone to pick up food this whole time while I was sitting in the room! ... Also, Dr. Landman had written orders for an Ultrasound that I was suppose to get done by my next visit which was suppose to be in 6 months. When it came time to get the Ultrasound done I called radiology to make an appointment and they said they don't show the order for the ultrasound in their system! I told them I have a paper copy of the order, so they advised me to call Urology again to see what's going on.. I called and they could not find it! How can you not find the order when I still have a copy of it in my hand? I asked them to message Dr. Landman for a new order so I can get it done before the appointment and they said okay but the order never came.. So I canceled the appointment.... It felt like there were no managers there... it's completely miss managed!

Call center appointments are challenging. Also, you don't see the same urologist every time. Most of them are researchers and only work 1 or 2 days a week so even if you get an appointment your follow up appointment will be months away or with a different person who doesn't know your case. My husband has been going for year and needs biopsy per the third urologist he saw. He was told it would be scheduled and it's been months and three or four physicians later with no biopsy scheduled yet. Every urologist he sees says they will call back or have it scheduled soon and then does not get scheduled. Please do yourself a favor and go find another non-UCI practice who cares about patient care and doesn't treat you like a number.

Dr. Moskowitz was great. She explained everything so well and made me feel very comfortable. The procedure she performed was done quickly with absolutely no discomfort.
