This venue is closed it looks like there is some building work going on! Shame as i have had some really nice fishing days on this water. I visited this site on 16/6/20 loads of work going on in the fields behind the lake and the water level has dropped Unable to use the boats.

This is a little gem in the Sussex countryside. Such a pretty peaceful place with enough facilities to get you buy for a day's fishing. The lake was restocked while we were there so lots of fish to catch

Absolute waste of time, not sure what’s going on with this place, the Mobile number just goes to answer phone, the website states it open but the sign on the side of the gate says closed! Water was so low you couldnt use the boats and the staging was 6ft away from the water which meant you dragged in weed everytime you retrieved the line. I paid 30 for a wasted hour. The trees that gave shadow and shade fir the fish are being removed, such a shame that a beautiful place is going to ruin. Please respond to this and comment left in the book

Went for the evening rise as this place is local to me. It’s been a bit hot recently but the temperature is starting to come down, so there was good activity. Caught a Blue and a rainbow and lost two more all in an hour from 1730 so didn’t actually catch the evening rise, although I did stay a while longer just to watch, and it all kicked off about 1845. Generally a bit run down but I’m not worried as long as the fishing is on. Quite a lot of lilies around the edges but there’s plenty of room to fish. We have had one of the hottest summers in recent memory so I’m not surprised seeing some blanks during the last three months. Patience is a virtue!
