Great staff. Tattoos are allowed! Even fairly big and visible ones (mine are like 30% of one arm plus some other places), no need to cover up.

A big public onsen with a big indoor and outdoor baths. Nice water that’s not too hot, and not too sulphuric! There’s some smaller tubs outside too. It feels really relaxing and spacious, nothing beats being able to see the stars from your bath. It’s a little more pricey than other onsen in town at 500 yen, but it’s worth it. I have a couple of small tattoos but they were no problem. Try the ‘health and beauty’ drink afterwards, it’s unusual!
Only two pools and the man section. One outdoor one indoor. There is two resting area winter additional one with tables and chair. Free drink all you can drink. Free parking Lots of produce and local novelties to buy from.
500 price tag. Lots of parking. Lots of sulfur smell. Changing room was disgusting. They need those rocks that absorb water instead of towels laid on floor. Also need lockers instead of baskets.
