Beautiful views of the valley, osprey watching, river access and great place to picnic or day camp. The food at the restaurant is really high quality too. Perhaps the nicest Michi no Eki I have been to.

車中泊先に選んだ、千曲川沿いにあるスケール感のある綺麗な道の駅であり川の駅です。残念ながら昨年の台風19号で大打撃を受け、川の駅としての機能は閉鎖＆修理中ですが、大型、中型、小型の3つの無料ドッグランあり、広〜い芝生ありで、犬連れの私達には最高でした。日の出後、大型エリアはユキだけで貸切。走りまくってました。そして何よりも印象的なのが奇岩・岩鼻。ほんとドデカイ鼻の穴です。また訪ねたいです。

幹線道路沿いにありますのでアクセスの良い道の駅です。 道の駅と川の駅が併設されている道の駅では、伊豆にあります「函南ゲートウェイ」が同類の道の駅になります。 共に整備が行き届いた、きれいな道の駅の印象です。 お土産物売り場も充実していますので、出かけて見てはいかがでしょうか。

トイレがとても綺麗で幼児用のトイレがあって有りがたかったです。 ヘリポートか脇にあり、子供は興味持っていましたし、走り回って遊んだり出来る芝生の広場があります。 私がいったときは凧揚げをしたり、ラジコンで遊ぶ家族連れがいました。 売店ではキャンプ道具が売っていたりしていました。なぜ、道の駅でキャンプ道具が！？
